Lasagna Bolognese Rezept

This classic Lasagna Bolognese is a hearty and flavorful dish, perfect for family gatherings or special occasions. Made with layers of rich meat sauce, creamy béchamel, and cheese, it’s sure to satisfy!

Ingredients

For the Bolognese sauce:
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 carrot, finely diced
1 celery stalk, finely diced
500g ground beef
1 can (400g) crushed tomatoes
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 cup red wine
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh basil leaves for garnish

For the béchamel sauce:
50g butter
50g flour
750ml milk
Salt and nutmeg to taste

Other:
12 lasagna sheets (fresh or dried)
200g grated mozzarella cheese
100g grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

1. To make the Bolognese sauce, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions, garlic, carrot, and celery; sauté until soft.
2. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, red wine, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 30 minutes.
3. For the béchamel sauce, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour to form a roux and cook for 2 minutes.
4. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Cook until thickened; season with salt and nutmeg.
5. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
6. In a baking dish, spread a layer of Bolognese sauce at the bottom. Layer lasagna sheets on top followed by béchamel sauce; repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
7. Finish with a layer of béchamel sauce topped with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until golden brown on top.

Notes

<p.Allow the lasagna to rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing for easier serving.
