This Air Fryer Chicken and Broccoli is a quick and healthy meal that’s full of flavor! The chicken is juicy and perfectly seasoned, while the broccoli comes out crispy and caramelized, all cooked in one air fryer. It’s a simple, low-maintenance dinner that’s ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (divided)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for topping)

Instructions

1. Preheat the Air Fryer:
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.

2. Prepare the Chicken:
Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel. In a small bowl, mix the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Rub the chicken breasts with 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil and season evenly with the spice mixture.

3. Prepare the Broccoli:
In a bowl, toss the broccoli florets with the remaining 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil. Season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of garlic powder if desired.

4. Air Fry the Chicken:
Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C). Remove the chicken from the air fryer and set aside.

5. Air Fry the Broccoli:
Place the broccoli florets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the broccoli is tender and slightly crispy.

6. Serve:
Once both the chicken and broccoli are done, plate them together. Drizzle the chicken with a little lemon juice for extra zest and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese if using.

7. Enjoy:
Serve immediately and enjoy your healthy, flavorful meal!

Notes

  • Chicken Thighs: You can substitute chicken breasts with boneless, skinless chicken thighs if you prefer a juicier cut of meat.
  • Spice It Up: Add some chili flakes or cayenne pepper to the seasoning mix for a little extra heat.
  • Add More Veggies: Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers, zucchini, or carrots to the air fryer along with the broccoli for a colorful, nutrient-packed dish.
