Ingredients

Ingredients
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb or 450g)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon honey (optional, for extra sweetness)
2 cups Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) so it’s hot and ready when you’re done prepping.
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, rice vinegar, garlic powder, ginger, and honey if you’re using it. This will be your marinade and glaze.
Season the chicken breasts lightly with salt and pepper, then coat them thoroughly in the sauce mixture. Make sure each piece is evenly coated—this is where all the flavor lives.
Place the chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 12 to 15 minutes, flipping halfway through. The chicken is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and has a slight caramelization on the outside.
While the chicken is cooking, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper. Once the chicken is done or near finished, add the Brussels sprouts to the basket and air fry for 8 to 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even browning.
When everything’s done, let the chicken rest for a couple of minutes before slicing. Plate it up with the crispy Brussels sprouts and drizzle any leftover sauce from the air fryer basket over the top for extra flavor.

Notes

If you’re cooking for more than two people, you can easily double the ingredients. Just cook in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding the air fryer.
This recipe works beautifully with boneless chicken thighs if you prefer a juicier, richer flavor. Pork tenderloin or tofu also make great protein swaps.
Make a little extra sweet chili sauce on the side for drizzling—you’ll be glad you did.
Want more heat? Add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a squirt of sriracha to the sauce mix.
To save time, trim and prep your Brussels sprouts in advance. They’ll keep well in the fridge for a couple of days.
